Baby business and other news

We found out last Wednesday that we are having a BOY! We are both super excited! It was our first "real" ultrasound and it was an amazing experience. I was so nervous all week that something would be wrong with our baby, but HE was perfect. :) We got to watch the whole thing on a big flat screen TV. I had no idea that's how they did it.

When the ultrasound technician first put the probe on my stomach, the baby was curled up in a little ball with his feet over his head with his little ankles crossed. It was so sweet. She had to push around a lot to get him to move to where we could see what we needed to see. It was so fun just seeing him though and we were so happy that he looked healthy and we could see his little heart beating so strongly, 150 bpm, that we almost forgot what we were there to see! I had to turn over on my side and then we were able to see pretty clearly that he is a BOY! As soon as we could see between his legs and before the technician even said anything, we knew he was a he! :)

I loved watching our little boy move! He put his little hands up to his face and looked like he was about to suck on his thumb or fingers. It was precious! We left with huge smiles on our face and immediately called our families to tell them the good news! Then, we headed straight to baby Gap and picked out the cutest boy clothes! 

We are so happy to finally know that our baby is a HE and we don't have to call him "it" anymore!

We love him so much already and cannot wait to hold him! I hope we can get a lot more meat on his bones first though! He looked a little skeletal! He measured right on though and we were happy about that! Still a September 5th due date! It seems so far away, but I know it will be here before we know it!

In other news, we are moving this week! When we got back from Florida, we began serious home hunting and we found the perfect place right away and it was available right away! We are so excited. It's a three bedroom, two bath condo just a little north of where we are now AND it is actually on the first floor, so no more lugging everything up to the third floor! We can't wait to get settled in and start setting up a sweet little boy nursery!

P.S. Here is a little 16 week belly shot. Sorry for the poor quality, and I swear it looks bigger in person and has grown since last week. I took it on my cell phone right before we left for the ultrasound AND I didn't realize Clay was on the bed in his underwear... so I had to crop him out. Boys.
