Utah Fall

I love Fall. Everything about it.

The crisp cool nights,

the ever-changing bright beautiful leaves,

drives up the canyon,

Honeycrisp apples,

Bath and Body Works fall-scented candles,

finally boot-wearing weather,

pumpkin desserts,

cuddly movie-watching-nights,

warm cider and hot chocolate.

One of my favorite things about Utah is that we truly get all four seasons (some seasons last a lot longer than others...). This time of year is the best.

A couple of weeks ago, my mother-in-law came to visit for Clay's Fall Break.

We took her to all of our favorite places to eat, shop, and see.

It was the perfect little Fall weekend.

We went up to Sundance, drove the Alpine Loop, went to Park City, shopped at City Creek, ate way too much, and watched some of our favorite shows together.

We are glad she came to visit us!

I can't get over how beautiful it is here this time of year. This seems like the first year I have really appreciated it, maybe because we have been talking a lot lately about where we are going to go when Clay is done with his undergrad. We still have a few years, but I know if we ever leave Utah, I will miss this. Pictures just can't do it justice.

I am grateful to be surrounded by some of God's greatest creations. I can feel His peace and His love.
