Las Vegas!

For both of our birthdays, Clay's parents got us Criss Angel Cirque du Soleil tickets in Las Vegas!! 

We got a super good deal on a hotel room on priceline and made a weekend road trip out of it! :) 

We listened to For All Eternity by John Lund on CD (we got as a wedding gift and LOVE it) during the five hour drive. It is about the importance of communication in marriage and we learned a lot from it! I read The Help to Clay some of the way and we just enjoyed the time talking and being together!

We stayed at the Trump International Hotel and it was SOOO NICE! 

When we got there we just looked around the hotel and unpacked somewhat and then walked across the street to the Fashion Show Mall and shopped a little and ate dinner. Nordstrom was right across from our hotel (ironic, since Clay works at Nordstrom, he just can't get away from it!).

After dinner, we walked down to the Shoppes at Ceasar's Palace to go to H&M. It was like a five mile walk and it was NOT worth it. We weren't impressed with H&M. Then, by the time we walked back to our hotel, Fashion Show Mall was closed, so we had a little adventure getting back since we had walked though that mall originally. BUT, we made it. :)

Saturday, we shopped A LOT! We drove about 15 minutes from our hotel and ate lunch at the little outdoor mall there, at Brio, which was delicious. Then, we shopped some there and went back to Fashion Show Mall again. They have a MASSIVE Forever 21. We really liked it! Then, that night was the show! It was incredible! We couldn't take pictures inside the theater, so here is a picture we took in our hotel room after.

The show was amazing though. I am still trying to wrap my mind around it. Crazy stuff!

Sunday, we just went to this breakfast/lunch place called Babycakes, that we had to wait like an hour for, but it was SO GOOD! Then, we just laid around the hotel the rest of the day. We were so tired! We drove back Monday morning!

It was such a great trip. It was fun just spending time together and relaxing!
